Commonly known as "Oufella Agadir" Agadir Kasbah is one of the leading places in the city. We speak of a fortress that dominates the city and its beach to a depth exceeding 230 m.

Historically, Agadir Oufella was about building under the command of Mohamed Ech-Sheikh in 1540, Moroccan king part in the race Saadi, to ensure a "military" protection of all possible occupations of the Portuguese.
The earthquake has experienced Agadir in February 1960 caused damage to the authentic building of this place. Therefore, reconstruction of the fortifications took place focusing on previous marks even if much of traces are sunk but preserved in the memory of the oldest inhabitants of Agadir.
